These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IndianExpatsInUSA.com (the “Website”) and the features, content, and services made available through it.
Indian Expats in USA (“Indian Expats in USA,” “IEU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Website as a community information, business discovery, and directory platform designed primarily to help members of the Indian community in the United States discover businesses, professionals, products, services, events, community Resources, and informational content.
By accessing or using the Website, creating an account, submitting content, submitting a business listing or review, or otherwise using Website features, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy and Listing & Review Guidelines.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.
1. About Indian Expats in USA
Indian Expats in USA provides a platform through which users may discover and interact with businesses, service providers, products, events, community Resources, articles, reviews, and other information. The Website also offers Connect, a community networking feature that allows eligible users to discover and connect with other members based on shared interests and connection goals, and IEU Partner Services, through which users may discover selected third-party service providers and submit inquiries or referrals.
2. Marketplace and Directory Role
Indian Expats in USA provides a discovery and information platform.
Businesses, vendors, professionals, service providers, product sellers, event organizers, and other third parties appearing on the Website are generally independent from Indian Expats in USA.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, IEU is not a party to transactions, agreements, engagements, communications, or disputes between users and businesses, vendors, professionals, event organizers, or other third parties.
Users are responsible for evaluating providers and determining whether a product, service, professional, business, event, or other offering is appropriate for them.
3. User Accounts
Certain Website features may require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account, except to the extent caused by circumstances outside your reasonable control.
You may not:
- impersonate another person or organization;
- create accounts using false or misleading identities;
- use another person’s account without authorization;
- create accounts primarily to manipulate ratings, reviews, listings, or other Website features; or
- use accounts to evade a suspension, restriction, or other enforcement action.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or other Website policies.
4. Business Listings
Businesses and service providers may submit listings for possible publication on the Website.
By submitting or managing a listing, you represent that:
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you are authorized to submit or manage the listing;
- you have the necessary rights or permissions to use submitted names, logos, photographs, descriptions, and other materials;
- the listing does not intentionally mislead users;
- the products or services described are lawful; and
- you will make reasonable efforts to keep material listing information current.
Submission of a listing does not guarantee publication.
Indian Expats in USA may review, categorize, format, edit, approve, reject, suspend, or remove listings consistent with these Terms and our Listing & Review Guidelines.
5. Listing Categories and Duplicate Listings
Businesses should select the category or subcategory that most accurately describes the primary service or offering represented by the listing.
Where Website functionality permits, businesses may identify additional related services within the same listing.
Businesses should not create unnecessary duplicate listings primarily to obtain additional search exposure, ratings, reviews, or promotional placement.
IEU may merge, recategorize, restrict, or remove duplicate or improperly categorized listings.
6. Paid and Featured Listings
Indian Expats in USA may offer paid listings, Featured listings, advertising, promotional placement, or other paid visibility options.
A paid or Featured listing may receive additional or more prominent placement on the Website.
Payment for a listing, Featured status, advertising, or promotional service does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, verification, or guarantee by Indian Expats in USA.
Featured or paid status does not guarantee impressions, Website traffic, inquiries, leads, customers, sales, revenue, or any particular business result.
Where appropriate, Featured, sponsored, promoted, or advertising placements may be identified or displayed differently from ordinary content.
7. Listing Fees and Payments
Certain Website services may require payment.
Payment instructions, prices, payment periods, currencies, and available payment methods may be communicated through the Website, email, invoice, or other authorized communication from Indian Expats in USA.
Payments may be collected outside the Website, including through a designated bank account or other approved payment method.
Where a payment is made in a currency different from a quoted price, the amount payable may be calculated using an applicable exchange rate communicated or used at the time of payment.
Users are responsible for ensuring that payment is made only through payment instructions legitimately provided by Indian Expats in USA.
8. Pricing and Promotional Offers
Prices, introductory rates, discounts, promotional offers, and listing packages may change from time to time.
A promotional or introductory price does not guarantee that the same price will remain available for future purchases or renewal periods unless IEU expressly agrees otherwise.
Any specific pricing commitment or promotional period communicated to a customer will be governed by the terms applicable to that offer.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Unless otherwise expressly stated in connection with a particular purchase, fees are generally non-refundable once the applicable paid period or service has begun.
If IEU is unable to provide a paid service for reasons within our reasonable control, we may, where appropriate, provide a refund, credit, extension, or other remedy at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
Removing or suspending content because it violates these Terms or other Website policies does not necessarily entitle the user to a refund.
10. Business Information and Verification
Indian Expats in USA may review listing information but does not independently verify every statement, qualification, license, certification, credential, insurance policy, background, business registration, product claim, or representation made by businesses or service providers.
The presence of a listing on the Website does not mean that IEU has investigated or approved the business.
Users should independently verify information that is important to their decision before hiring, purchasing from, paying, visiting, or otherwise engaging with a business or provider.
11. Reviews and Ratings
The Website may allow users to review or rate businesses or service providers.
Reviews should reflect a genuine experience and must comply with our Listing & Review Guidelines.
Users may not knowingly submit fake, fabricated, deceptive, or materially misleading reviews.
Businesses and users may not manipulate the review system through practices such as fake accounts, coordinated reviews, undisclosed self-reviews, malicious competitor reviews, or other deceptive conduct.
Businesses may not provide payment, discounts, gifts, free products or services, refunds, or other benefits conditioned expressly or implicitly on a review expressing a particular positive or negative sentiment.
Where a reviewer has received an incentive or has a material relationship with a business, applicable disclosure requirements must be followed.
Indian Expats in USA may moderate reviews for compliance with Website policies. A business is not entitled to removal of a genuine review merely because the review is negative, the business disagrees with it, or the rating affects the business’s overall rating.
IEU may investigate and remove or restrict reviews reasonably believed to violate our policies.

12. Contacting Businesses
The Website may provide ways for users to contact businesses or service providers.
Indian Expats in USA is not responsible for communications, negotiations, agreements, payments, services, products, disputes, or other interactions that occur between users and businesses.
Users should exercise appropriate judgment before providing personal, financial, medical, immigration, legal, or other sensitive information to a business or third party.
13. Connect — Community Discovery and Networking
Connect allows eligible users to create profiles and seek connections for friendship, family activities, study, fitness, professional networking, travel companionship and other available connection goals.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, their communications and their interactions with other members. Creating a profile does not guarantee matches, responses, friendships, professional opportunities or any other outcome.
Users must not use Connect for harassment, stalking, impersonation, fraud, unsolicited commercial solicitation, unlawful activities or attempts to obtain sensitive information from other members.
Users must respect other members’ privacy, boundaries and decisions not to communicate. Information obtained through Connect must not be harvested, republished, sold or used for unrelated marketing without appropriate authorization.
Connect is intended for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old to create a Connect profile.
14. Connect Safety and Verification
Indian Expats in USA does not conduct comprehensive background checks on Connect users and does not guarantee the identity, intentions, honesty, qualifications or safety of any member.
Any verification indicator reflects only the specific verification steps performed by the platform. It does not constitute a background check, endorsement, guarantee of safety or certification of trustworthiness.
Users are responsible for exercising reasonable precautions when communicating, sharing personal information or arranging in-person meetings.
Indian Expats in USA is not a party to personal, social, professional or other arrangements made between Connect users.
We may restrict, suspend or remove Connect profiles or accounts where reasonably necessary to address policy violations, suspected impersonation, safety concerns or misuse.
15. Partner Services and Independent Providers
Indian Expats in USA may display selected third-party offerings identified as IEU Partner Services.
Partner Services are provided by independent businesses or professionals unless expressly stated otherwise. Indian Expats in USA generally acts as a discovery, introduction or referral platform and does not itself provide the advertised services.
Submitting a Partner Service inquiry authorizes us to process the inquiry in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where the user affirmatively agrees to provider contact, we may share the submitted contact information and inquiry details with the relevant provider.
The provider is responsible for its own communications, representations, professional qualifications, pricing, service delivery, contracts, payments, cancellations, refunds and applicable legal obligations.
Users should independently evaluate a provider before purchasing a service or disclosing sensitive information.
16. Advertising, Referrals and Compensation
Indian Expats in USA may receive compensation from businesses or service providers for advertising, featured placement, introductions, referrals or other commercial arrangements.
A Partner Service label, featured placement or commercial relationship does not constitute a guarantee, independent certification or assurance of service quality, safety, effectiveness or results.
Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, submitting an inquiry through the website does not create a payment obligation to Indian Expats in USA.
17. Professional and Health-Related Services
Some listed businesses or Partner Services may offer health, nutrition, financial, legal, immigration, tax, educational or other professional services.
Information appearing on the website is provided for general discovery and informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Indian Expats in USA does not independently guarantee provider credentials, professional licenses, regulatory status, treatment outcomes, financial results or the accuracy of professional claims.
Users are responsible for determining whether a provider is appropriately qualified and authorized to deliver the requested service in their location.
18. Resources and Contributor Content
Indian Expats in USA may allow eligible users to submit articles, guides, Resources, images, sources, references, and other informational or community content (“Contributor Content”) for possible publication.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
IEU may review, edit, format, categorize, approve, reject, request changes to, decline, unpublish, or remove Contributor Content for editorial, legal, technical, quality, safety, moderation, or platform-related reasons.
By submitting Contributor Content, you represent that:
- you created the content or otherwise have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it;
- publication and use of the content as contemplated by these Terms will not knowingly violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- you have permission to submit images or other third-party materials included with your submission where permission is required;
- you have not knowingly fabricated material facts, sources, or references; and
- the content is not unlawful or intentionally deceptive.
Contributors remain responsible for the content they submit.
Contributor Attribution
Where applicable, Indian Expats in USA may display the contributor’s name, username, profile information, or other attribution information with published content.
Publication of Contributor Content does not create an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, professional, or other similar relationship between the contributor and Indian Expats in USA.
Unless separately agreed in writing, contributors are not entitled to payment or compensation for submitted or published Contributor Content.
19. Updates to Published Articles
Indian Expats in USA may allow contributors to propose updates to previously published articles or Resources.
A proposed update does not automatically modify the published article and does not guarantee that the proposed changes will be accepted.
IEU may review, approve, reject, edit, or request changes to a proposed update.
If approved, some or all of the proposed changes may be incorporated into the existing article rather than published as a separate article.
IEU may make reasonable formatting, grammatical, technical, and editorial changes to Contributor Content.
Where practical, substantial editorial changes affecting the meaning of a contribution may be handled through the applicable editorial or review process.
20. Events
Indian Expats in USA may allow users to submit events for possible publication.
By submitting an event, you represent that:
- the event information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you are authorized to submit or promote the event;
- submitted images and other materials may lawfully be used for the submission; and
- the event and its promotion comply with applicable law.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Indian Expats in USA is not the organizer, host, sponsor, promoter, ticket seller, or operator of an event merely because the event appears on the Website.
IEU does not guarantee an event’s schedule, location, admission, attendance, availability, quality, accessibility, safety, cancellation policy, refund policy, or other details.
Users should verify important event information directly with the event organizer before attending, traveling, purchasing tickets, or making other arrangements.
21. Informational Content Disclaimer
Articles, Resources, listings, reviews, ratings, event information, community content, and other materials available through Indian Expats in USA are provided primarily for general informational, community, and discovery purposes.
Content available on the Website should not be treated as legal, immigration, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical, mental-health, or other professional advice unless expressly provided by a qualified professional acting in an appropriate professional capacity.
Indian Expats in USA does not guarantee that Website content is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular user’s circumstances.
Opinions expressed by contributors, reviewers, businesses, event organizers, or other users are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Indian Expats in USA.
Users are responsible for evaluating information and, where appropriate, obtaining advice from qualified professionals.
22. External Websites and Social Media
The Website may contain links to business websites, social-media profiles, event websites, shopping platforms, payment services, or other third-party websites and services.
Indian Expats in USA does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, products, services, policies, or conduct.
A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by IEU.
Users access third-party websites and services at their own discretion and subject to the third party’s applicable terms and policies.
23. User Content
“User Content” includes content submitted or uploaded by users, including business information, listings, descriptions, photographs, logos, reviews, ratings, Connect profiles and publicly submitted profile information, articles, Resources, article updates, event submissions, sources, references, messages where applicable, and other materials.
You retain ownership of rights you hold in your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Indian Expats in USA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, edit, adapt, excerpt, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, display, improve, and promote the Website and the content or features available through it.
This includes, where appropriate, displaying or excerpting published content on other areas of the Website or in communications and promotional channels associated with Indian Expats in USA.
This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Indian Expats in USA.
If User Content is removed, the license will generally end with respect to future use of that removed content, except where continued retention or use is reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of these Terms, administrative records, or materials already created or distributed before removal.
24. Copyright, Trademark and Other Intellectual Property
The Website’s design, branding, logos, original Website materials, and other content owned by Indian Expats in USA are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, impersonate, misuse, or commercially exploit IEU-owned content or branding except as permitted by law or with appropriate authorization.
You may not submit content that knowingly infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on the Website infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, you may contact us at support@indianexpatsinusa.com.
Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the concern, including:
- identification of the work or right you believe is being infringed;
- identification and location or URL of the material at issue;
- your contact information; and
- an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized.
We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to evaluate a complaint.
Nothing in this section represents that Indian Expats in USA has designated a statutory copyright agent unless such designation has separately been completed.
25. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Website to:
- violate applicable law;
- engage in fraud, deception, impersonation, or misrepresentation;
- submit fake or misleading business information;
- manipulate ratings or reviews;
- submit fabricated experiences or fake reviews;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or unlawfully discriminate against others;
- publish another person’s sensitive personal information without appropriate authorization;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- distribute malware or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with Website security or operation;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract Website information in a manner that violates applicable law or Website restrictions;
- use automated systems to create spam, fake accounts, fake reviews, or abusive submissions;
- use the Website to send unauthorized spam or deceptive promotions;
- circumvent moderation, account restrictions, or enforcement measures; or
- otherwise use the Website in a manner that we reasonably determine threatens users, businesses, Website integrity, or security.
26. Moderation and Removal
Indian Expats in USA may moderate Website content and activity to enforce these Terms and other Website policies.
We may, where appropriate:
- approve or reject submissions;
- request clarification or corrections;
- edit formatting or categorization;
- restrict visibility;
- remove content;
- suspend listings;
- restrict Website features;
- suspend or terminate accounts; or
- take other reasonable measures to protect users and Website integrity.
We are not obligated to monitor every submission or communication.
Failure to take action regarding one violation does not prevent us from taking action regarding the same or a similar violation later.
27. No Guarantee of Availability
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Website or any feature at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent storage of content, or continued availability of any particular feature.
Users should maintain their own copies of information or content that is important to them.
28. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content and features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

- the Website will always be available or free from errors or security issues; or
- use of the Website will produce any particular personal or business result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
29. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Indian Expats in USA and its owners, operators, administrators, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the Website.
This includes, without limitation, losses arising from:
- reliance on listings, reviews, articles, Resources, event information, or other Website content;
- transactions or disputes with businesses or third parties;
- products or services obtained from listed businesses;
- event attendance or cancellation;
- loss of data or content;
- interactions, communications, meetings, arrangements, or disputes between Connect users;
- inquiries, referrals, communications, purchases, services, or disputes involving independent Partner Service providers;
- unauthorized access or security incidents outside our reasonable control; or
- interruption or unavailability of Website services.
To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
30. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indian Expats in USA and its owners, operators, administrators, representatives, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from or relating to:
- content you submit;
- your business listing or representations;
- products or services you offer;
- events you submit or organize;
- your infringement of another person’s rights;
- your violation of applicable law; or
- your material violation of these Terms.
31. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how information may be collected, used, disclosed, and retained.
32. Relationship to Other Website Policies
Our Listing & Review Guidelines contain additional requirements governing business listings, reviews, ratings, and related conduct.
Where a specific Website feature displays additional submission rules or requirements, those requirements also apply to use of that feature.
If a specific policy conflicts with these Terms, these Terms will control unless the specific policy expressly states otherwise.
33. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, our practices, legal requirements, or other operational considerations.
When we update these Terms, we may revise the Effective Date shown at the top of this page.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Continued use of the Website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
34. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Indian Expats in USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
The governing jurisdiction and any applicable dispute-resolution requirements may be further specified as the legal operating structure of Indian Expats in USA is established.
